As a freelance art director and interface designer I love developing brands and interfaces using well structured, often unorthodox, but methodology based thoughts & processes to fulfil a user centric design approach.

Especially in the digital product development, but also in a general design approach i like to understand all relevant needs and circumstances, which strategically should reflect the design process and result overall. I believe a deeper understanding is the foundation for a design that works. 

I mainly use the basic design thinking steps and adapt them to the specific situation to generate a provable ideation and design concept in an efficient and sustainable way. I like to use state of the art technology and methods as well as questioning them in respective context, to be able to adapt custom fit ways and tools of working.

In agency context i like to share my experience and knowledge as well as trying to generate a positive working dynamic with empathy and engagement.

Landingpage concept & design for Authentic Network

To prevent product piracy in cororna times Authentic Network provides a simple uncopiable blockchain based krypto printing technique. Authentic asked me to communicate their product on a landingpage format considering their existing visual language.

Design for Human Nature asked me to adapt their corporate design primary indicators for Frank´s design relaunch into a digital design system. We tested all developed modules and components in relevant contextes of meaning as well as in all conceivable viewports.

I helped Peter Schmidt Group´s Digital Team to prepare and maintain a range of ecommerce launches for Pulze in East Europe. After developing a bespoke agile workflow my main focus was on creating, evolving and maintaining a legal restriction adaptable design system hemisphere.

User interface design for Osram Lightelligence IOT Platform

As an interface designer I supported Deepblue Networks in the Osram Scrum Team evolving and maintaining the overall bespoke design system as well as concepting and developing a range of information graphics for the dashboard statistics. Filling small interaction gaps and inventing new features within the software was also part of my support.

Workshop for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Together with Benjamin Nadjib we held a workshop for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to enable fashion influencers to devolep their own G-Wagon design. I supported the influencers from Blogger Bazaar with ideation as well as with refinement and implementation of their design draft.

Rhenus Group asked our studio to ideate first possible redesign opportunities for their inhouse shopping portal. We invented a new design language system and used this to design a range of user specific customer journeys within a whole new structured shopping experience.

The Buddenbrookhaus and Drej Scenography asked me to develop a visual identity for the exhibtion called »Herzensheimat« which descriped and reflected Brothers Mann´s relationship to their hometown Lübeck in giving a related and detailed overview on the relationship to their parents.

App design for Peter Schmidt Group´s X-Mas App

Peter Schmidt Group invented an IOS and Android app, which allows users, clients and friends to design their own shareable x-mas card designs. I developed the main gesture based interaction concept and designed the branding and interface for the whole application.

Flexible identity principles for Drej scenography

Drej Scenography asked me to develop their visual identity as well as a draft for their digital landingpage.
I designed a permutative logo, which reflects the idea of interacting with different room situations.

44 years of succesful design work was the opportunity for Peter Schmidt Group to celebrate with a selfbrewed Gin. I helped the agency to adapt the gin branding to a playful storytelling Gin44 landingpage.

Oak & Finch

2012 I finished my graphic design studies at FH Dortmund with a branding & packaging exam called Oak & Finch. The project was awarded with a bronze nail from the Art Director´s Club.
