The Identity
A small flexible brand system was designed around the platform product to communicate the product itself and its main benefits in all public communication channels. The identity locates in between the fields of esports and classic sports communication and includes a flexible easy to manage design system with bespoke iconset.
The Product
The angular based webapp was designed to fulfil all existing needs within an onsite FIFA eSport tournament. All stakeholders, like admins, refs, players, broadcaster and visitors can be connected easily to the divers tournament flows. A simple to manage scheduling and clear overviews of the tournament progress enable administrators and participants to keep the tournament on track.
The handy and precise scheduling and rescheduling options for games and rounds inform all stakeholder on actual tournament events.
A still growing and worthy databank of player, admins and referees improves the setup speed tremendously.
An event screen management section enables the admins to display and change all onsite screen information easily via app control.
An atomic design based pattern library and simple customize opportunities provide all licence holder like FIFA a tournament specific styling within minutes.
Since 2017 Playmaker is still in use to administrate the tournaments for the official FIFA Interactive Worldcup Series.
